Seattle Hot Dog
Sautéed onions, cream cheese, jalapeño slices, and sauerkraut... It's easy to see why people love Seattle hot dogs. It's popular street food in the city, and this recipe shows you how to bring that signature taste home.
Cook the hot dogs in a frying pan or toss them on the grill; you can even go with the customary Polish sausage. While they definitely are not lacking in the flavor department, adding Sriracha sauce or brown mustard gives them an extra boost.

Sonoran Hot Dog
When you can't decide between hot dogs and Mexican food, this Sonoran hot dog recipe is the best of both worlds. The hot dog is wrapped with bacon, grilled, then stuffed into a toasted soft roll. The toppings include refried beans, avocado, jalapeño, onion, and tomato, as well as fresh cilantro-lime crema, which is a unique condiment you'll want to use more often.

Animal-Style Dog
Any trip to the west coast must include a trip to In-N-Out burger. Animal-style is their classic cult favorite - burgers or fries topped with American cheese, grilled onions, and Thousand Island Dressing. That being said, we decided to take this line-up and add it to our hot dogs to make our own Animal-style dogs.
Ingredients:
- 1 vidalia onion (diced)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 8 slices yellow american cheese
- 4 hot dog buns
- 4 hot dogs (grilled)
- Thousand Island Dressing
Instructions:
- Add the olive oil to a sauté pan. Heat on medium heat and add the diced onion. Sauté until the onions have softened and become lightly brown. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Add 2 slices of cheese to each bun. Place them on a sheet pan and bake at 450 F for just a few minutes, or until the cheese melts.
- Add the grilled hot dogs to the cheesy buns, top with the thousand island dressing and grilled onions. Eat Immediately!

Buffalo Wing Dog
A nice spicy hot dog is the best choice for this delicious dish. But of course a regular beef hot dog works great too! It's the perfect spicy and creamy topping mixture for your next barbecue.
Add the grilled hot dogs to your bun of choice. Drizzle buffalo hot sauce, blue cheese dressing, and crumbled blue cheese over the top of the dogs. Thinly slice celery and then sprinkle it over the top. Enjoy!
Frito Pie Dog
It doesn't get more indulgent than classic Frito Pie. This topping is not only easy, but it's ideal for those who like a little crunch on their dogs. For this recipe, we recommend you make your own chili ahead of time. A no-bean chili works the best, as it will stay on the dogs better.
Place the grilled dogs in their buns, top with warm chili, shredded cheddar cheese, crushed Fritos corn chips, and chopped scallions.
